    Automatic bookkeeping

    Abacus.ac is a self-learning, artificial intelligence system that automates the activities of accounting service providers. It adapts itself to the unique bookkeeping requirements of companies, industries, and countries by analyzing the activities of human accountants.

    Shoebox accounting

    Abacus.ac implements “shoebox accounting” by accepting all accounting data in a wide range of structured and unstructured formats: image files, pdf, xml, csv, and more.

    System integration

    Abacus.ac leverages its vast knowledge of accounting to provide complete accounting lines, and transfers these lines into the systems that accountants already use and are familiar with.

    For our team we are hiring a

     

    Software developer (m/w)

     

    As a software developer, you take over a responsible and creative position. As part of an interdisciplinary data science and software team (software developers and data scientists), you realize solutions for professional users working in the accounting industry. You use your software development skills to design and develop web-oriented software architectures, front- and back –ends. Based on your experiences and know-how in software architecture, you actively progress and shape the development of our innovative software products.

     

    What we look for:

    • At least 3 years hands on experience in software development in industry or open source projects
    • Practical experiences with OOP in Python, Django, relational DBs, CSS, HTML, JavaScript
    • Preferably practical experiences with Angular JS / Angular 2 and Bootstrap frameworks
    • Very good understanding of the current SaaS technologies, computer networks and development practices
    • Practical experiences with source control, remote development, issue tracking, build and test automation
    • Proficient in professional English to engage in deep technical discussions.
